The Dexia Group is in orderly resolution as a bank until 31 December 2023. In July 2023, the Group applied for the withdrawal of the banking and investment services authorisations of Dexia (formerly Dexia Crédit Local), which was approved by the European Central Bank in December 2023, with an implementation date of 1 January 2024.
Since 1 January 2024, Dexia (formerly Dexia Crédit Local) has therefore continued its orderly resolution as a non-bank.

You will join the Transversal Market Risk (RMT) team within the Risk Department where you will gradually take on the following tasks:
Your missions:
• As soon as you join, you will be responsible for:
o Preparing the Transaction Committee: participation and coordination of the market risk opinion on the weekly transactions proposed within the framework of the committee (restructuring, sales, financing, etc.). This process will be punctuated by presentations of the files to the Market Risk Department.
o The quarterly review of the Group’s portfolios: mapping, identification of the risk mandate, and the prudential category (banking or trading)...You will present your work and conclusions to the Transversal Market Committee (market activity operational committee bringing together all departments related to the financial markets). You will also provide compelling proposals to contribute to ongoing process improvement.
• You will be required to take part in presentations on transversal market risks:
o Evaluating the strategies and new products proposed by the Front Office. Taking into account the impacts on market risk and on ALM risks.
o Coordinating the market risk support line for the preparation of the quarterly metrics.
o Meeting occasional requests from other departments (accounting, operational risk, etc.) on numbers and the metrics process of the Market Risk Department.
• Providing support for various strategic and/or tactical company projects.
Your profile
- You have a degree from a major business school or the university equivalent. You are fluent in English (C1). You have a good understanding of finance and economics and are very interested in financial products (e.g. derivatives, fixed-income instruments, etc.).
- You have keen writing skills and are able to express yourself orally.
- You are curious, logical and open-minded. As a result, you want to understand the various issues and mechanisms in order to have the best possible overall understanding.
- You are recognised for your rigour, energy, proactive approach and your compelling proposals, and you like teamwork.
