The Dexia Group is in orderly resolution as a bank until 31 December 2023. In July 2023, the Group applied for the withdrawal of the banking and investment services authorisations of Dexia (formerly Dexia Crédit Local), which was approved by the European Central Bank in December 2023, with an implementation date of 1 January 2024.
Since 1 January 2024, Dexia (formerly Dexia Crédit Local) has therefore continued its orderly resolution as a non-bank.

You will be responsible for the following within the Risk Models, Quantification & Defaults Department and, particularly, in the Defaults Unit team responsible for default qualification:
- Preparation of the quarterly Defaults Committee meeting:
o Reception and concatenation of the unpaid amounts received from Accounting
o Analysis of individual unpaid amounts in close cooperation with the departments responsible for tracking them (Middle Office, Customer Service, Accounting, Risk Analysis, Legal)
o Document summarising and analysis by file
o Management of many files requiring meticulous review
o Preparation of the summary and analysis document presented to the quarterly Defaults Committee
o Continuous updating of operational procedures and the Default Unit’s checklist
- Contribution to the Quarterly Risk Report for the quarterly analysis of unpaid amounts
- Collection of the data flows required to calculate the Loss Given Default (LGD) for the Backtests of risk parameters used to calculate provisions
- Contribution to other team tasks, such as the quarterly provision calculation
- Participation in ad hoc studies or requests within the scope of the department.
Your profile:
- You are currently studying Banking, Finance, Insurance or Risk Management at a business or engineering school or you have an equivalent university degree. You are very comfortable with Microsoft Office and, particularly, Excel, Advanced Excel and PivotTables.
- You may have had experience with operational functions either in a Back Office, in accounting, or in risk.
- You have good English language skills (verbal and written) for exchanges via email with the subsidiaries and for reading documentation.
- You are recognised for your rigour, autonomy, excellent relational skills, team spirit, adaptability and initiative.
- You believe in the Quality process and in continuous improvement.
