The Dexia Group is in orderly resolution as a bank until 31 December 2023. In July 2023, the Group applied for the withdrawal of the banking and investment services authorisations of Dexia (formerly Dexia Crédit Local), which was approved by the European Central Bank in December 2023, with an implementation date of 1 January 2024.
Since 1 January 2024, Dexia (formerly Dexia Crédit Local) has therefore continued its orderly resolution as a non-bank.

Job description
The Dexia Purchasing Department is responsible for all Group purchases within Europe, including the purchases required for the working environment, including IT, telecoms, and intellectual services.
The extent of Purchasing’s duties is currently evolving and must support the transformation plan carried out by the Group on its business lines. The Purchasing Department is also in the midst of transforming its approach, its scope, its processes, and its risk management.
Joining us will provide you with a unique opportunity to take part in this transformation and to contribute to it.
With the support of your tutor, or of a buyer, your missions will consist primarily of:
- Managing purchasing categories jointly with the business lines and the entities of the Group, consolidating needs forecasts with operations staff for IT services, hardware, software, IT projects (development, integration, solution implementation), TMA, TRA, IT Subcontracting, Telecoms and Services Platforms;
- Implementing supplier sourcing;
- Participating in the launch of calls for tenders;
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses of supplier expenditures and the purchasing categories entrusted;
- Taking part in commercial and legal negotiations;
- Preparing contract documents;
- Using the Ivalua Purchasing platform (purchase request processing, supplier creation, contracts, sending of purchase orders, etc.);
- Implementing Purchasing governance with the suppliers identified: planning of contract committee, supplier/strategic meetings, follow-up via our Ivalua Purchasing platform.
Profile
- You have a Bachelor or Master degree and are specialising in Purchasing.
- You are interested in the IT sector.
- You are looking for a 12 to 24-month work-study programme.
- You have ideally had prior experience in the field.
- You have mastered Microsoft M365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- You have good relational and listening skills. You are curious, autonomous, rigorous and have excellent writing skills.
- You are proficient in English.
Preferred start date: As of September 2025- 12 to 24 month contract
Preferred schedule: Three weeks at the company and one week in school
